Thursday evening, we will all get acquainted over cocktails and a delicious dinner at one of Guadalajara's finest restaurants.

Friday mid-morning, we will enjoy a guided tour of the city center, exploring its diverse architecture, colonial plazas, and ancient legend. We will have lunch at one of the city's popular restaurants offering Mexico's burgeoning modern cuisine. Afternoon free.

Saturday morning, we drive an hour outside Guadalajara to the Tequila region for a guided tour of a small family owned Tequileria. First hand you will discover how maguey is planted, harvested, processed, distilled and aged into 100% Agave Tequila. Following our tour we will enjoy a Tequila tasting session and scrumptious Carne Asada lunch with Mariachis to serenade us. Afternoon free.

Sunday morning, we go 15 minutes outside Guadalajara to suburb of Tlaquepaque, a visual feast of exquisite arts and crafts sold from restored mansions, on pedestrian walk streets. Sunday is a big party day here, full of local color. We leisurely meander through this amazing destination, then relax and enjoy lunch at the town square where traditional dishes are the local specialty. Evening free.

Monday morning, we gather for a cooking class. It's all about Tamales. In this participation cooking class, we will become expert in filling both corn husks and banana leaves with savory and sweet fillings. Early lunch on our Tamales and a toast to celebrate our new friendships and the conclusion of our Cuisine, Tequila and Crafts Tour.

Monday afternoon, may be a travel home time for some, unless you are continuing your stay in Guadalajara or journey elsewhere in Mexico.
